Love Like Ice’s demo is now playable on web browser!

Wanted to delve into the wintry depths of Love Like Ice with the handsome yet aloof Liev, but downloading a tiny demo gave you pause? Fear not: introducing Love Like Ice’s demo web build!

While the downloadable version of the game runs a tad smoother, the web build works great! The biggest problem we ran into with playtesting was that the text and images stuttered a touch as they appeared – everything else is stable! 

“But Tea for Two,” you say, “What about the full game? How’s it going?”

For full transparency, Love Like Ice is currently mostly on-hold. We’ve been focusing on our much larger-scale project, Alien Incrementum, which has unfortunately hit a few bumps in its development cycle thanks to life always getting in the way. We are surely but slowly getting there, though! 

Although most of our efforts have been towards Alien Incrementum, we still have some new content for LLI featured here in this new updated demo! It includes some updated UI, and some other small tweaks and changes you may have gotten sneak peaks of in our previous devlogs! We hope you enjoy it!

The majority of the game has been outlined in Twine, with most of the new content already voiced! With how many branching dialogues we have, we’ve had to figure out through trial and error the best way to approach programming all these branches. Small chunks are to be implemented as Alien Inc gets closer to completion! 

We’d also like to acknowledge, in light of the censorship of NSFW games, that LLI’s content will not be altered from its original vision. This includes partial nudity and depicting sexual situations. We refuse to adjust our game to adhere to censorship.
